If you want to entertain some people, hire D-Base and you'll succeed. That has to be what the organizers of the Dutch Festival for Vocal Ensembles must have thought. Performing in front of a couple of hundred a cappella singers must be wonderful as well. I can't think of a better audience.
D-Base had to fill in the gap between contest and prizegiving, just like Basix did last year. After the tension that had kept everybody busy during the day, it was time to sit back and enjoy a cappella from Belgium!
D-Base can best be described as hyperactive entertainers with a great talent to sing medleys with unexpected turns, act totally crazy on stage and make the audience join in. For 45 minutes all the participants of the festival seem to forget about the contest. We laugh a lot and although I'm terribly tired I wish they could continue another 45 minutes. I already know most of the songs they sing tonight, but Satisfaction is new and it's fantastic! Two flutes represent the electric guitars...

After the prizegiving, the party wit D-Base continues during the afterparty in the Theaterhotel. Somehow my tiredness disappears and it's a lot of fun to party for another while! :D
